ST. ANTHONY DUNE GUIDE

Terms of Use

This is an independent guide written for visitors. It is not the BLM, IDPR, or a substitute for either.

This is not an official source

St. Anthony Dune Guide has no affiliation with the Bureau of Land Management, Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, Fremont County, or any rental operator or business named on this site. Nothing here is endorsed by them.

Fees, closures, seasons, and regulations change, sometimes with no notice. Confirm critical details with the BLM Upper Snake Field Office, IDPR, and current signs before you travel. Where we are unsure, we say so rather than guessing.

Riding is your risk

Off-road riding on open dunes carries real risk of injury and death. This guide describes conditions, rules, and common mistakes to help you prepare. It is not instruction, not certification, and not a safety guarantee. Decisions on the sand are yours, and so are the consequences.

Documentary photographs and illustrated scenes

Named places use licensed documentary photographs or clearly identified map views when suitable sources are available. Their creators, licences, and source links are listed on the photo credits page. Other scenes are original AI-generated illustrations, and historical scenes are labelled as artist recreations in their descriptions.

Illustrated scenes should not be used to identify a landmark, judge a route, verify signage, or settle a question about what is actually at the park. Confirm those details with an official map or current source.

Getting it wrong

If something here is out of date or simply incorrect, the feedback form on any page reaches us and we will fix it. That is the fastest correction route and we would rather hear about it than not.

Spot something out of date?

Hours shift, operators change, and the sand moves faster than any of it. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
